Our History

Atlantic Caisson Corp. was incorporated in 1972, founded and established by the late Robert A. Suchy. Atlantic has been a leader in the drilled foundation industry throughout the Mid-Atlantic states building America's foundations with pride and expertise.

Now entering its fifth decade of operation, the company is led by Michael (Mike) R. Koller, President. Mike has over 40 years of experience in the drilling foundation industry and has been with Atlantic since 1975. Having served as a drill rig and crane operator for over 15 years, as well as general superintendent for nearly 10 years, Mike assumed the role of Executive Vice-President in 2004 and later as President in 2011.

Mike has shared his experience and expertise with the industry through his involvement with the ADSC: The International Association of Foundation Drilling, on both the local and national levels; serving as Secretary, Vice-President, and President for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter from 1999-2014. Mike also held a spot on the International Board of Executives from 2008-2010.

Mike presently continues to be an active and contributing member of the ADSC.
